-Use-

The Oh! Rabbit G-Spot from Lovehoney is a rabbit style vibrator.  Rabbit vibrators are designed for women with the purpose of stimulating both internal and external pleasure zones at the same time.  The insertable area of the toy has rotating beads and a curved tip while the clitoral arm offers vibrations.  The functions are separately controlled and can be used one at at time or both together.

Great for solo and partnered use, the Oh! Rabbit G-Spot makes it easy to stimulate both the G-spot and clitoris at the same time without having to use two hands.  The shape of the toy is great for its designed use, but is limited apart from it.  It’s not great for teasing other areas of the body, and isn’t a great choice if you’re looking for anal stimulation.  It’s safe to use it anally, but isn’t the best choice thanks to the design.

Safe to use in the tub or shower, the Oh! Rabbit G-Spot is fully waterproof, which also helps when it comes to cleaning time.  There’s no worry about water leaking inside your toy because there’s an o-ring around the battery cap that prevents it.  While it is safe to use just about anywhere, it’s not a travel friendly toy.  It’s quite large and not at all discreet, so it’s best to leave this one at home.

-Material/Texture-

Untitled-5Made from skin-safe silicone (according to the packaging), the Oh! Rabbit G-Spot is non-porous, phthalate free, and is one of the safest materials you can get for a sex toy.  The insertable area and clitoral arm are both covered in a layer of silicone and though there is some flexibility, is quite firm thanks to the internal parts.  The tip of the G-spot stimulator and the bunny ears have the most movement, but the motors underneath the silicone prevent it from being squishy.  The base of the toy is made from ABS plastic which is equally body safe.  Apart from the control panel, this area is completely firm and smooth.

Untitled-4There are a few very small areas on the toy where texture is present.  The shaft of the rabbit has some very slightly raised details on either side of it, and there’s an obvious seam going down the center and back of the toy.  The face of the clitoral arm has a similar seam and some small details that may be felt.  The texture is extremely light and I was completely unable to feel any of it during use.  The plastic base has a little wavy pattern to it which helps keep your grip on the smooth surface, even when you’ve been dealing with lubricant.

This particular silicone has a matte looking finish that has a lot of drag to it.  It easily picks up really fine dust and fuzzies, so it’s important to clean it both before and after each use.

-Design/Size-

The Oh! Rabbit G-Spot is pretty standard as far as looks and design.  You have the insertable shaft with rotating beads under the silicone, a clitoral arm that resembles a rabbit, and have the control pad on the base of the toy.  There aren’t any special features and it isn’t really unique as far as dual stimulating toys go, but the rabbit is a classic and works well as it is.

If you’ve never tried a rabbit vibrator before, it’s still pretty self explanatory; the tip of the toy is inserted into your vagina (where you’ll feel the rotating beads if you choose that function) and the face and ears of the bunny will vibrate against your clitoris.  The ears can be placed on one side or either side of the clitoris thanks to the flexibility.  Rabbits don’t work for everyone because they are fairly anatomy specific.  Often times the clitoral arm will be too long or short when the internal stimulator is against the G-spot; you take a change every time you try one, but a well fit rabbit is like winning the lottery!

The size really isn’t suitable for travel and would be too large for most beginners.  The full length of the toy measures 10 1/4″ in length, with 5 1/4″ being insertable.  The girth starts off at 4 1/4″ in circumference and is 5″ at the widest part (the area where the beads are).  The clitoral arm is 2 1/4″ long, with 1″ making up the ears.

-Functions/Controls-

To power your Oh! Rabbit G-Spot, you need to use three AA batteries which aren’t included.  When you unscrew the bottom of the toy, a battery tray comes out.  There are two spots on one side and one on the other and it’s very clearly marked how they should be inserted.  Once you replace the tray and screw the cap back on, you’re ready to power it up.

There are a total of five buttons on the key pad, and six light indicators.  The vibrations and rotations are controlled separately, giving you the option of using them together, or only one at a time.  The buttons can seem a little overwhelming when you first look at them, especially if you’re a new toy user, but they’re actually very simple to understand and use.

Untitled-8The two buttons on the top control the rotation.  There is no specific ‘on’ button, you simply press the up button once to turn it onto the first speed.  One red light with shine showing you it’s on the first speed.  A second press will make it go a little faster and will add a second light, and a third press will bring you to the highest speed and illuminate the third light indicator on top.  If you want to slow the speed down or stop the rotation, you press the down arrow until you reach your desired speed or until they turn off.

The center button controls the direction of the rotation.  When the rotation function is on, pressing this button will cause the beads to rotate the opposite way.  If they were turning clockwise, they would then turn counterclockwise, etc.  There isn’t a light indicator for this function, and that’s the only purpose of this button.

The bottom button controls the vibrations of the clitoral arm.  The shaft of the toy itself doesn’t vibrate, but they travel well when it’s turned on.  One press of the wavy button turns the vibrations on to the first function.  Each time you press it you’ll change the pattern and it will continuously cycle.  To turn the vibrations off, you have to hold down the button for a few seconds.  Unlike the rotation light indicators, the vibration ones function a little differently.  All three lights mimic the pattern you’re on.  They’ll flash on pulsing patterns and glow normally for the steady vibrations.

There are seven patterns of vibration:

  1. Steady Low
  2. Steady Medium
  3. Steady High
  4. Medium Pulse
  5. Quick Escalating Pulses
  6. Strong Slow Pulses
  7. Three Short Pulses, One Long Pulse

The vibrations are surprisingly deep and are fairly powerful.  They are felt strongest in the face of the rabbit, but do travel easily through the ears and shaft of the toy.  They might not be strong enough to satisfy a power queen, but they’re suitable for most users.

The rotation is interesting and I think most users will enjoy the sensation, however, they are very loud.  Though you might not wake the neighbors, someone could easily hear them through a closed door and they are extremely distracting during use.  The vibrations alone are very reasonable and wouldn’t be heard unless someone was in the same room with you.

-Care-

Oh! Rabbit G-Spot can be easily cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner for regular use.  If you’re planning on sharing with a partner it’s important to fully sterilize the toy by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution.  Because there are internal parts to this toy, it can’t be boiled or put in the dishwasher like you can other toys.

Water-based lubricant is the best option with this toy since other materials might cause the surface to become damaged.  It’s also important to find something to store your toy in since it doesn’t come with a pouch and the box wasn’t designed for long term use.

-Packaging-

Untitled-3This rabbit arrives in a pretty basic looking cardboard box that has a colored image of the toy on the front.  The text information combined with the photo instantly give away what the box contains.  It’s not discreet in that sense, but at least it’s not covered with tacky adult material.  The basic information about the toy is displayed on the the sides, but it’s nothing super important to take note of.  When you open the top you’ll see the toy nestled inside a plastic tray that prevents it from moving around inside the box.  The only paperwork included is short and to the point; explaining how it’s used and showing an image of how to insert the batteries.  It’s not luxury packaging, but it’s okay, I just wish they would have included a storage pouch.

-Experience-

Rabbit vibrators in general are a big hit or a miss and thanks to my anatomy, they’re usually the latter.  My clitoris is pretty far away from my opening and many clitoral arms only just barely reach, or don’t at all.  The Oh! Rabbit G-Spot actually worked pretty well for me, and I found myself enjoying it fairly well thanks to the power of the strongest vibration level.  I was feeling really good about the toy, thinking I would really enjoy it, and then I turned on the rotation setting.  I couldn’t believe how loud it was!  On top of that, I tried it on each setting and didn’t find it to be very stimulating to me.  I’m not very sensitive inside, so this might have been a personal issue, but it really didn’t thrill me.  After being so pleased with how the vibrations felt, I was extremely let down by the underwhelming feeling and very loud rotation of the shaft.  I couldn’t concentrate on it because it was so distracting, not something I want to worry about when I’m trying to please myself.

The quality is good, the vibrations are surprisingly strong and deep, it’s waterproof, and works well.  However, the rotation was a total failure in my opinion, which made the insertable portion of the toy nearly useless because only the vibrations are worthwhile.

Just because I didn’t fall in love with this toy, doesn’t mean it won’t be the right one for you.  If you’re interested in purchasing the Oh! Rabbit G-Spot, you can find it at Lovehoney by clicking the banner below.
