-About the Tantus Suction Cup-

Finding a body safe dildo with a suction cup can be a challenge.  Many are made from questionable materials, and those that aren’t can be costly if you want different sizes and textures.  The Tantus Suction Cup is the perfect solution; saving you tons of money while you enjoy the dildos you already know and love.

Tantus Suction Cup - showing designThe Tantus Suction Cup works with most dildos that contain a bullet hole in the base.  It’s compatible not only with all Tantus vibrating dildos, but products from many other companies as well.  The website mentions Vixen Creations and Topco, but I’ve also personally tested it with Vamp Silicone.  Chances are, if your dildo can house a standard size bullet, it will work with this suction cup.

This accessory works surprisingly well.  It holds strong on any flat surface and is extremely simple to use.  You don’t have to worry about lubricating the stem, or struggling to remove it (like the Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock suction cup).  It requires little effort to push in or pull out.  The design features two raised rings which grip the inside of the dildo; holding it in place during use.  The dildo doesn’t slip or slide off the suction cup, but comes off with a simple tug.

Tantus Suction Cup - how to useTantus has a graphic on their website and packaging that show how to use the suction cup.  They suggest pressing the cup onto a flat surface, and then attaching the dildo, but you can do the opposite as well.  It doesn’t seem to matter if the dildo is attached to the cup before or after it’s suctioned to the wall – it works exactly the same way.

To the right, you’ll see the Tantus Echo Vibrator being used along with the Tantus Suction Cup.  The weight of the dildo doesn’t cause the suction to break and the imperfect painted surface of my bedroom wall doesn’t change the way it performs.  If the surface is flat and not overly textured, the cup should work well.

When you’re finished, you need to pull the base of the cup off the wall to break the suction.  If you remove the dildo and pull the stem, it takes a lot more effort.  It’s honestly shocking how well this cup remains firmly in place.

Made from Tantus’ 100% Ultra-Premium Silicone, you can feel secure knowing this suction cup is just as safe as your Tantus insertables.  It can be washed with soap and water, boiled for a few minutes, sterilized with a 10% bleach solution, or even cleaned in your dishwasher.  If you find one of your dildos has a slightly smaller bullet hole, using a little water-based lube may help, but shouldn’t be required with the majority of dildos.Tantus Suction Cup - raised logo

The silicone is buttery smooth and has a matte surface.  Apart from the two rings which help hold your dildos in place, the only textured area is the company name.  It’s slightly raised in the silicone on the top of the cup, but doesn’t effect use in any way.  It’s just a nice little reminder that your awesome suction cup came from a company you know, love, and trust.

Tantus Suction Cup - base designThough this suction cup is new, it’s not the first released by Tantus.  This is their upgraded version that was designed to work even better than the last.  I never tried the previous version, so I can’t say how it compares, but their website isn’t shy in sharing the differences:

**Newly improved: No more uneven bottoms or occasional wobbles. These Suction Cups are smooth, perfect, and damn sturdy when you stick ’em!**

Tantus Suction Cup - in packgingThe Tantus Suction Cup arrives in a plastic package that’s molded to perfectly surround the product.  It’s clear, so there’s no disguising what the package contains, but it’s fun and tasteful.  The paper inside gives you a rundown on how to use the product, and includes an illustration.  The packaging can be disposed of since it takes up a lot more room than the cup requires.  The suction cup is compact and doesn’t require a lot of space for storage.

-What I liked-

I love suction cup dildos, a lot.  Being able to free up my hands to explore and pleasure other areas of my body is something I’ve come to truly enjoy.  Not only that, but Tantus is a company I simply can’t get enough of.  Their products are quality, they care about your safety and pleasure, and they’re just plain fun.

The Tantus Suction Cup is a smart investment.  It’s taking one product, and introducing a new way to use all your Tantus vibrating dildos (and other dildos with bullet holes).  You don’t have to search for a body safe dildo with a suction cup base.  You don’t have to compromise on body safety, texture, size, or shape.  That’s a really big deal when you’re on a budget but still want to get the most out of your solo pleasure.

The suction cup is really, really strong.  Typically when I receive a toy with a suction cup base, I walk around my apartment and try sticking it to every flat surface I can find.  Oh, to be a fly on the wall!  The walls, floor, table, chairs, refrigerator, shower wall, tub, toilet, etc. – I test them all.  Some do really well with the shower, but leave something to be desired when it comes to a regular wall.  The Tantus Suction Cup passed all my tests and proved itself to work well on all flat surfaces I tried it on.

Tantus Suction Cup - showing strengthNot only does it suction well, but it holds strong for long periods of time.  After leaving it on my bedroom wall with a dildo attached for 20 minutes, I used it.  First with the Tantus Echo Vibrator, and then with the Vamp Silicone Gianni.  I didn’t adjust the cup or press it down after switching, and it never budged.  I left it up for another 20 or so minutes after removing the dildos to wash, and it didn’t release.  I decided to try tugging on the stem rather than breaking the suction, and it took a surprising amount of effort for it to break.  To say I was impressed is an understatement!

-What I didn’t like-

Because the stem is short and a little flexible, the dildos tend to sag.  It didn’t seem to make a difference if I used smaller or larger dildos, it reacted the same way.  Naturally, this doesn’t effect how strong the suction is (as stated above), but it can be a little more challenging to back up to a dildo if you’re using it on the wall.  If you’re planing on riding your dildos most of the time, this isn’t an issue at all, only if you’re using it while standing.

This is easily the best accessory I’ve ever received for my toys.  It’s great quality, easy to use, holds strong, and was designed to last a lifetime.  If the idea of hands free dildo use appeals to you, you have to check out this suction cup.  It costs less than most dildos and is interchangeable; what are you waiting for?

  2. Liked how you gave us an idea of how much it sags. Pictures always help greatly :)

  3. Great review, I’m checking out best available suction cup toys for LoveArc. Lots of positives here and even the cons might be eliminated with LoveArc propped against the wall.

    • Thanks so much for reading and commenting! I’ve heard of the LoveArc, but I haven’t experienced it. It looks like the suction cup would likely work well, though I can’t say for sure. Certainly doesn’t hurt to give it a try!
