-Overview-
This dual stimulating toy is very typical and really doesn’t bring anything new to the table. I appreciate the fact that it’s silicone, it has a nice shape, and can be used in a harness, but that’s about it. I think a lot of people would take one look at it and say, “no, thank you!” thanks to the vibrant pink color and the butterfly stimulator. It’s definitely cute and girly, but that certainly won’t suit everyone’s taste. Despite how it looks, the vibrations are also lacking. They’re very buzzy and most of the settings aren’t very powerful; some even make a weird high pitched sound. Add the fact that the battery pack is corded and the vibe isn’t waterproof, and there’s really not much about this toy to enjoy. There are similar products available that are higher quality and would be worth your investment, this one just isn’t.
-Intro/Use-
The 10-Function Silicone Love Rider Butterfly Lover from Cal Exotics is a dual stimulating vibrator. This vibe features a lightly textured shaft, an external stimulator in the shape of a butterfly, and a suction cup base.
One of the best things this vibrator has going for it is the awesome shape. It was designed with female pleasure in mind. The light curve to the tip of the shaft connects with the G-spot, while the external stimulator was meant to pleasure the clitoris. Dual stimulating toys like this one can be hit or miss when it comes to anatomy. It might be too long/short to line up with your G-spot or clit, so your personal experience will vary.
The base of the toy has a built in suction cup which allows for (mostly) hands-free solo play. It doesn’t work well on regular walls (works in the shower, but the toy isn’t waterproof), but works okay on smooth, flat surfaces. It’s not the strongest suction cup, so be prepared for it to slide around or lose suction during use.
You don’t just have to play alone, this vibe is suitable to use with a partner as well. The base of the toy is easy to hold onto for thrusting, and also makes the toy harness compatible. If you’re interested in using it for anal play, it would be safe, but might not be the most comfortable option. The external arm is flexible, but I don’t think it’s flexible enough for that type of play. If you do use it that way, make sure to sterilize before using it vaginally again.
Playing in the tub or shower is out of the question since this vibrator is powered by a corded controller and is not waterproof. When it comes time to clean your vibe, disconnect the controller before you start washing and try not to get the vibe wet where the cord connects to it. It doesn’t look like the silicone creates a seal around the cord and it might cause damage. Just use caution.
-Material/Texture-
The Love Rider Butterfly Lover is made from three materials, ABS plastic (for the control and internal parts), phthalate free PVC (for the cord), and silicone (for the shaft and external stimulator. The ABS plastic and silicone are both body safe materials that are non-porous, latex free, and phthalate free. PVC is a porous material that can’t be sterilized. I think it’s odd they chose to make the cord from that material considering the rest of the toy is non-porous.
For regular cleaning, you can use soap and warm water (not submerging the toy) or your favorite sex toy cleaner. Make sure to get in all the small grooves in the clitoral arm and use caution where the cord is attached. If you’re sharing with someone else or switching orifices, you can sterilize the silicone area by cleaning with a 10% bleach solution. Water-based lubricant is the only type that should be used with your vibe since other types could cause the surface to degrade.
The surface of the silicone is matte and drags across the skin. It also picks up small particles and hair and will need to be wiped down or rinsed off prior to use. Both the shaft and clitoral arm have some texture to them, but shouldn’t be so
much that it bothers someone who prefers smooth toys. The swirls along the shaft lightly stimulate while the ribbed belly of the butterfly can hardly be felt (by me, at least). The shape of the shaft prevents the texture from feeling like too much, and the tip allows you to focus on more targeted stimulation.
Most of the silicone is a skin over the internal parts and is quite firm. The material doesn’t have a lot of give when you squeeze it, only certain areas of the shaft and the suction cup base. The butterfly has very flexible wings and antennae since they’re made entirely out of silicone. The shaft doesn’t bend much, but does a little bit, and the external stimulator has some flexibility to it as well. It’s enough that it won’t cause you discomfort when used vaginally, but might not be enough to use it in other ways.
-Design/Size-
The Love Rider Butterfly Lover is available in pink and purple only, so there’s not another option if girly colors isn’t your thing. It’s probably best, since it goes right along with the cutesy butterfly that makes up the clitoral arm.
The shape is mostly familiar when it comes to rabbit (or dual stimulating) vibrators. There’s an insertable and an external portion that allows the toy to stimulate separate areas without using two different toys. What’s a little bit different about this one is that it has a suction cup base and a corded controller. The cord comes out from the bottom of the shaft on the left side. It’s great if you’re allowing your partner to control the vibrations, but a little annoying if you’re right-handed. Though it doesn’t have a realistic look to it, it’s far from being discreet. Anyone would easily guess what the product is and what it’s used for, so it’s important to keep it in a safe place if you’re concerned about others knowing you have it.

The vibrator is reasonably sized, but might be too thick if you’re not used to some type of penetration. It’s also a little too large for travel, and isn’t a great option anyway since you’d also have to keep track of the controller. The full length is 7″ with about 5″ being insertable. The clitoral arm extends 2 1/4″ from the base to the tip of the antennae, but is 1 3/4″ to the top of the head. The shaft ranges in size from 4″-4 1/2″ in circumference thanks to the shape of it. The cord itself isn’t very long (22 3/4″), which is a good thing and a bad thing. It means you won’t get tangled up in it, but also means it might not be long enough for certain uses.

-Functions/Controls-

The Love Rider Butterfly Lover is powered by two AA batteries which aren’t included. The controller isn’t permanently connected to the vibrator, instead, the cord plugs into it. The back of the controller has a battery cap that easily slides off so you can insert the batteries. Inside, you’ll see the compartment is molded so that you can easily see which way to put them in. Once inserted, you replace the battery cap and you’re ready to turn the toy on.
Corded toys are always a pain since you have to worry about getting tangled up in it, or having disconnection issues. Since the bottom of the vibrator is a suction cup, this was really the only way they could make it work. The cord is a reasonable length, but it requires you and your partner to be fairly cozy to prevent it from disconnecting.
There are two buttons on the toy, a square one on the front, and a trigger style button on the back (it reminds me of our Wii remotes, only thinner). The only function of the button in the front is to turn the toy on and off, the one in the back controls the different vibration patterns.
When you turn the toy on, you’ll see a light glow from around the square button and you’ll be on the first setting. The light will glow or flash in time with the vibration pattern you’re on. There are a total of ten different patterns that range from steady vibrations to a variety of patterns. They’re the typical 10 Dynamic Rhythms that you often see with Cal Ex toys.
Every time you press the trigger button (the one located on the back) it brings you to the next pattern. Once you’ve pressed through the ten settings, you’ll start at the beginning again and keep cycling. If you’ve passed the pattern you want, you have to go through them all and find it again. The only way to turn the toy off is to press the button on the front. When you turn the toy on again, it will start on the setting you last used. It’s nice if you have a favorite pattern since it will remember your place, but can be frustrating when you’re looking at the list of patterns and aren’t starting off with the first setting.
The highest level of vibration is pretty average in strength, but is very buzzy. The power is suitable for those that are more sensitive to vibrations, but won’t likely satisfy a power queen. I, personally, found that I enjoyed the toy more without the vibrations on. The design is wonderful, but the vibrations are frustrating.
On the highest setting, someone in the same room with you would be able to hear the vibrations, but no one would be able to hear it through a closed door. If you’re very concerned, adding some white noise (TV, fan, radio) makes it even less likely that you’d be heard.
-Packaging-
The Love Rider Butterfly Lover arrives in a basic white box that has the product obviously displayed on it as well as the company name, product name, and information about it. It’s not discreet since it’s obvious what the package contains, but it doesn’t display any nudity. Inside the package, your vibrator and controller are both sealed in separate bags, and there’s a small paper that shows you how to insert the batteries and what the patterns are. The information is minimal (the box has more
information on it than the paper), but a lot isn’t required since the toy is easy to figure out. The vibe doesn’t come with a storage pouch, so the package is all you get. It’s larger than necessary for your toy and ends up taking up more space than needed. Using a plastic Ziploc bag (or storage pouch) would work better.
-Experience-
The Love Rider Butterfly Lover isn’t something I would typically purchase for myself. Dual stimulating products often don’t work for me, and I’m not a big fan of corded toys. The look didn’t appeal to me either, but the shape of the shaft looked like it might be nice.
When it came time for me to test the vibe, I put the batteries in and turned it on. The buzzy vibrations were expected, so I didn’t really feel disappointed, though something more powerful and rumbly would have been nice. When I inserted the shaft, I was immediately surprised by how nice the shape of it was. It effortlessly found my G-spot and was very stimulating; even when I turned the vibrations off. The external stimulator didn’t line up perfectly, but it was flexible enough that it didn’t cause discomfort when thrust which was something I was concerned about.
Though I found the shaft to be pleasurable, there weren’t enough positive things about this toy for me to really enjoy it. The suction cup doesn’t hold well, you have to worry about a cord and controller, and the vibrations weren’t strong enough to satisfy my needs. Not to mention it’s a little too girly for my taste.

The G-vibe Noir is rechargeable using the included USB charger and arrives with a partial charge. Prior to your first use, you’ll want to make sure the battery is completely juiced up. On the bottom of the handle is the small charging port. There are no caps to open, you simply push the tip in. While it’s charging, the lights behind the buttons will flash, showing you it’s connected properly. Once the charge is complete, you disconnect the cord and you’re ready to use.
The buttons are all the same as the
press of the plus button will increase the power. The middle button controls the six patterns. The intensity of the patterns can also be changed by increasing or decreasing the vibrations. The minus button decreases the intensity and turns the toy off. Every time you press a button, the lights behind them glow, but only when you’re holding the button down. As soon as you let up, the lights turn off.
The G-Vibe Noir arrives in a rectangular black box that features an image of the product on the back, and the company and product name on the front along with a
floral art piece. It’s very elegant looking and was made to last a long time, but it’s not discreet since the back has an image of the toy, and some of the text on the package gives away what it contains.
When I heard Fun Toys was coming out with their second product, I was thrilled! I had no idea what it could be and was anxious to see what else they were working on. When I heard it was an updated version of their
In use, I can definitely say the Noir is an upgrade. I like the fact that you can apply more pressure because it doesn’t flex as much, and I really love the fact it’s waterproof. I’m a power queen and when I heard there was a third motor, I was beyond excited. Now that I’ve used it, it’s hard to even tell much of a difference. Yes, it’s a little more powerful, but not enough to say it will now satisfy a power queen.

The look of this corset is simply gorgeous and is where it truly shines. The floral fabric features a lighter shade of red in the background, and a darker shade in the foreground. It adds depth to the pattern and gives it a moody, seductive feel to it. Not at all what you would commonly expect from something that’s floral. The trim, laces, and waist band are all black and really compliment the red pattern. The inside of the corset is also black, but it doesn’t need a fancy pattern since it can’t really be seen while you’re wearing it. The corset isn’t reversible, so the fabric on the outside is what everyone will see.
The front features seven shiny silver hook and eye closures. These aren’t like your bra closures, but are quite common in corsets. The left side features little nubs that slightly extend from the material, and the right side has flat pieces that lock them in place. When you put the corset on, you’ll need to line up the sides so that they all hook into place at almost the same time. This isn’t like buttoning up a shirt, you can’t do one hook at a time. Because you have to line them up just so, it can be a challenge to hook if your laces aren’t wide enough when you first put the corset on. Make sure they’re nice and loose and worry about adjusting them once you have it in place.
The laces in the back are silky and feel more like ribbons than lacing. They hold up well to being tugged on and should last a long time. There are a total of 24 eyelets (12 on each side) that go along either side of the corset that hold the ribbon in place. It’s rimmed with metal which makes the lace slide easily through them. The corset is pre-laced when you receive it and there’s a lot of wiggle room when it comes to adjusting the piece to fit your body shape. Behind the lace is an optional modesty panel. This panel prevents anyone from seeing your skin through the laces. You can fold it over when you first put the corset on if you’d rather have your skin exposed, and larger corset wearers might not be able to use it at all.

The corset and thong are both made from 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex. The material doesn’t seem to breathe as well as cotton or lighter materials do, and may cause you to sweat. It’s not rough or scratchy against your skin, in fact, it’s quite soft and smooth.
The corset arrives at your house in a clear plastic bag that has a sticker on the outside. It only tells you the style, color, and size and doesn’t have the company or product name on it. Once you open the bag and pull out your lingerie, you’ll see a tag attached that has a model on one side and the website (and information that was on the sticker) on the other. There’s really not much information there, but it’s not really necessary for something like this. You can dispose of the plastic bag and the tag since they’re not necessary to keep. The corset is already laced and ready for you once it arrives.
the mirror yet, but when I looked down at myself I thought for sure I was going to actually look nice in something.

The surface of the silicone has a lot of drag and requires lubricant in order to glide easily across the skin. Lint is also an issue since it attracts tiny particles and needs to be wiped/washed off prior to use. It’s annoying, but manageable. The plastic handle is totally smooth.
The end of both the shaft and arm have an obvious curve and are followed up with rows of bulges. The bulges are light and create a soft ribbed sensation when thrust. The amount of texture is wonderful for someone who’s branching out from smooth toys, and shouldn’t annoy someone who’s easily distracted by texture. It’s sort of right in the middle and should work for most. If you need extreme texture to feel satisfied, this won’t quite be right, but should work for most users. You’ll need to pay attention when cleaning because some of the grooves need a little extra attention. As long as you clean your vibe right away it’s quite simple.
Paul and Paulina has a very common design, having an insertable shaft and a clitoral arm. However, the look of this vibe is very different! It’s not uncommon to see animal like features on the external portion of the toy (especially rabbits, butterflies, dolphins, etc.) but it’s not often you see it on the internal part of the toy. This vibe has both! The top of the shaft and the clitoral arm both resemble little caterpillars or worms. They have obvious heads, little eyes, and smiling faces; the Fun in Fun Factory obviously coming through. It certainly prevents it from looking realistic, but the animal like parts might bother some. Though it doesn’t look like a penis, it’s still not discreet and would be obvious to most that it’s a vibrator.

There are a total of three buttons on the toy that control all the functions; a plus, a minus, and a star. The plus button turns the toy on and increases the intensity (six levels), the minus decreases the intensity and turns the toy off, and the star button is what allows you to cycle through the four patterns. If you don’t want to worry about steady vibrations, you can also turn the toy on by holding down the star button. The intensity level of the patterns can’t be changed. If you press the plus or minus button while using one of the pattern settings, you’ll go back to steady vibrations.
Paul and Paulina arrive in a cardboard box with a thin sleeve over it. The sleeve features an image of the toy on one side, and a lady dressed in lingerie on the other. It’s not discreet, but is tasteful and doesn’t have nudity on it. There’s a little information on the outside, but not a lot. Once the sleeve is removed, the box looks a little more discreet. It’s still not the best option for storage, because it’s not durable enough to last a long time (unfortunately a storage pouch isn’t included). When you open the package, a thin layer of cardboard holding the user manual is covering your Paul and Paulina. It’s easy to remove and access your toy. On one side of the box you’ll see a small cardboard piece that says your Click ‘N’ Charge charger is contained within the box. You have to take this piece out in order to remove the charger underneath it. The user manual is mostly in German and is difficult to follow and understand. Fortunately, the toy is pretty easy to understand and figure out, but it would be nice to see an easier to understand manual included with Fun Factory toys.

The Collar attaches using two silver snaps that are located on the back. The front has four loops that hold the laces in place. The material goes behind them as well, so your neck isn’t exposed through this area. The design allows it to be slightly adjustable, allowing you to tighten the laces to provide a better fit. It’s 2 3/4″ tall and ranges from 14 1/2″ to 19 1/2″ wide. The shape is curved which allows it to naturally fit around your neck.
The pasties are a cone shape and feature a little metal ring on the tip of each. They come with two strips of double-sided adhesive tape that you use to hold them in place. There are no directions on how to apply them, and you’ll need to cut the tape yourself. The shape of the pasties will work best for those who have perky breasts. The size of your breasts doesn’t matter, but if you have flatter breasts like I do, these will only look awkward on you. They also only measure 2″ across, which doesn’t even come close to covering my areolea which are approximately 4″ wide. It would have been nice to see pasties that were more naturally shaped.
The waist cincher features a laced front and a zippered back. The zipper makes it much easier to put on by yourself, especially compared to a long row of hooks. Since it laces in the front, it’s also much easier to tighten it as needed, which allows you to accentuate your curves. Like the collar, there’s fabric behind the laces, so your belly can’t be seen through them. There are eight rows of plastic boning which is extremely flexible. Great for comfort, but doesn’t help the cincher hold its shape. The laces allow the cincher to range from 40″ to 45″ in length, helping it work for a variety of body types and sizes. The height of the sides and back are 9″, but the center is a little taller and comes in at 11 1/2″. Along the top are two ribbons which make it easy to hang it up, and the bottom features four small loops that the garter straps slip into.
The thong is a little different than what normally comes in lingerie sets. It doesn’t have the thin string in the back and won’t wedge itself between your cheeks. The laces seen in the other pieces are used for the thong as well. The band at the top is stretchy and surrounds the entire piece, only separating for two metal rings. Other than the band at the top, the only thing holding the sides together is the silver lace. When you make the laces loose, the thong becomes crotchless for easy access. There’s no liner inside, so you can feel the lace directly against your body when you’re wearing them. They measure 18″ across the band when laid flat, the front is 5 1/2″ wide, and the back is 9 1/4″ at the widest points. Directly at the crotch it’s 2 1/5″ wide.
Included with the set are four garter straps that can be hooked into the waist cincher to help hold up the stockings. They are very common in the way they function, featuring a small hook on one end, and a special closure on the opposite side that prevents your stockings from slipping down without damaging them. They are fully adjustable using a small metal loop. They range from 6 3/4″ long to 10″ long, making them work for a variety of different heights. They have some elasticity to them as well, so it’s easy to move around while wearing them since they’ll work with your movements rather than against them.
The stockings included with this set are your basic black and don’t have a fancy pattern to them. The toes are closed, but aren’t reinforced, so don’t expect these to last very long (mine had runs in them the first time I put them on). They each have a band on the top that’s approximately 2 1/4″ wide that help keep them in place and make it less likely for the garter straps to damage them. They’re very cheap feeling (and easily run), but aren’t scratchy or uncomfortable to wear. These are designed to reach about the middle of your thigh, but your specific height will make that vary. They’re very stretchy when it comes to the length, but are less forgiving at the top. My thighs are 24″ around where they rest and it felt fitted, but not too tight.
The Rock Out Corset Set comes in a tall cardboard box that features a large image of a model on the front wearing the set. The top boldly says what lines it’s from and the bottom provides the product name. Each side was designed to look like tattered fishnets and is made from black velvet (like the posters you can color). It’s cute looking, but black fuzz ends up everywhere. The back of the package has two more images of the model, showing both the front and back of the piece on her body. On both the cover and one of the images on the back, she’s having to hold her breasts up, this should prove how the pasties don’t really work the way they should. The bottom tells you what the package contains and provides the size chart. It’s not at all discreet, but can be broken down and recycled.
