-Overview-

Sometimes all the regular looking dicks and dongs start to seem a little too simple.  They all feature so many of the same details it can often feel like you’re looking into a sea of flesh tones trying to pick out the one that will feel different.  That’s where companies like Exotic-Erotics come in handy.  Last summer they released a dildo that’s design took me by surprise.  The Croc is a sculpted animal toy which means the mold was created to look similar to an actual Crocodile penis without it being a life cast (molded from the animal).  From the scales on the base to the cupped tip, every inch of this dildo is full of detail!  The shape really surprised me and I couldn’t help but wonder how it would feel inside me.  Let me just say, I wasn’t disappointed! Pair that with the fact you have so much say in the color and firmness of your toy, and you have a real winner!  There’s nothing better than getting a toy that’s made with your specific tastes in mind.  My only complaint about The Croc is that the base is too large for a suction cup.  The primary issue with that is how tired your arms might become while you’re thrusting.  Considering how unique and awesome this product is, that’s only a small issue that I could easily overlook.

-Intro/Use-

The Croc from Exotic-Erotics is a dildo that was designed to look like the penis of a Crocodile (or Alligator).  The silicone body comfortably flexes with you and the design allows it to be used in a variety of ways.

 The odd shape of this dildo might not look like it’s the most stimulating toy, but you’d be surprised.  The bulged head creates a lovely popping sensation when thrust and subtly connects with the G-spot.  The reasonable length and forgiving material are fantastic since it’s unlikely you would uncomfortably bump your cervix (depending on the size you order), and the cupped shape of the end might even create a more stimulating experience.

Don’t be surprised if your arms get tired while thrusting; this dildo is far from being light!  Though it lacks a suction cup base, the weight does allow you to ride it when placed on a flat surface.  It might slip around a little bit, but you can easily hold the base with one hand to prevent that from happening.

Though the size prevents it from being harness compatible, you don’t have to use this dildo alone.  Let your partner put in the work while you lay back and enjoy!  Since the base is so nice and large, you could even return the favor, no matter what gender your partner is.  There’s no way this toy would slip inside of you, so you can safely use it for anal play as well.  The tip will likely be a little challenging to insert, but it’s possible.  Always make sure you sterilize when sharing with a partner and switching between orifices.

-Material/Texture-

The Croc is made entirely from silicone which is a body safe material that’s latex free, phthalate free, and non-porous.  It’s a fantastic material since it’s so easy to clean and care for.  After use, simply wash with soap and warm water or your favorite sex toy cleaner.  If you want to sterilize the toy, you have a few different options.  You can boil it for three minutes, put it in your dishwasher, or clean it with a 10% bleach solution.  Because of the material, you should only use a water-based lubricant since other types could cause the surface to degrade.

Almost the entire surface of the silicone is matte, but the bottom of the base is shiny.  The bottom has the biggest issue with lint and it feels a little tacky.  Apart from the lint, this is actually a good thing since it works better on a flat surface and can be used without it moving around too much.  The rest of the toy does pick up some small particles, but it’s much more reasonable.  It’s smoother than the bottom, but does still drag across the skin.

The surface has some light texture to it, but nothing extreme.  The base has scales around it and the shaft has some lines, wrinkles, and veins that can be felt with your hands, but aren’t obvious enough to be felt easily during use.  These elements add more to the look of the piece rather than the feel.  If you’re someone that doesn’t care for texture, this would be perfectly fine to use.

There are three different firmness options available (Soft, Medium, and Firm) and I chose the medium since I typically enjoy softer toys, but felt the soft would be too soft to easily use.  This option flexes easily, but not so much that it’s difficult to use.  The tip, being a little awkwardly shaped, is a little bit of a challenge to insert, so I would recommend purchasing this dildo in the firm option. I believe it would still be soft enough to provide comfort, but would be easier to use.

-Design/Size-

I can honestly admit, up until I saw The Croc, I had no idea what a crocodile penis looked like.  I did a little searching around and came across an image that really surprised me.  This dildo looks surprisingly like the real thing (image here).  While I know it’s not a perfect match, I feel like Exotic-Erotics really captured it in the best way they could.  I’ll be the first to say I’m not the biggest fan of realistic looking animal dildos (at least the ones that resemble animal penises), but this one looked unique and different enough that it’s easy to separate the two.

The shape of this dildo is really what stood out to me when I first saw it.  The cupped tip drew me in, and the detailed shaft had me sold.  The base is nice and large which makes it easy to hold onto (though tiring) and the slight curve of the shaft helps it connect with your internal pleasure zones.  Like any cupped shape, don’t be surprised if you see some fluid in that area when you remove the toy from your body.  Between using lube and your own natural fluids, it’s totally normal.

One of the great things about being able to customize your dildo is choosing which color(s) you want.  There’s a wide variety of colors available to choose from, or you could select the natural markings option (which would look the most like an actual croc penis).  Some of the options are available at an additional fee, but others are included within the price.  Can’t decide between two colors?  Chose the Swirl option to get them both.  Don’t see the color you’re looking for?  Select the custom option and see what they can do for you!  Don’t just want typical colors?  The glow-in-the-dark choice is right for you.  No matter what your tastes are, it’s very likely Exotic-Erotics will come through!

My Croc was made with a blue and glow-in-the-dark swirl for the shaft, and I requested a purple base.  I love the muted purple shade they made for me and think it really compliments the colors of the shaft.  The glow-in-the-dark feature is really fun!  After holding it in direct light, the dildo glows extremely bright, but fades within the first 60 seconds.  The glow lasts for about 30 minutes before completely fading.  This is the first glow-in-the-dark dildo I’ve ever had and it’s been so much fun playing around with it in the dark!

Aside from the awesome color choices, you can also choose between four different sizes; Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large.  Even the smaller sizes are quite large, so make sure to pay close attention to the measurements that are provided on the product pages (and to the left, click to enlarge).  I chose a medium for my Croc because I enjoy the full feeling larger toys can provide.  The end of the toy starts off fairly thick and can be a little difficult to insert at first.  The thinnest area of the shaft is just below the head; this design allows the toy to create an awesome popping sensation when thrust.  The length of this toy is quite average, so it’s perfect for someone looking for a girthy toy without too much length.  The largest area is the base, which might make the toy seem a little overwhelming at first.  As I said, it’s a great size/weight for riding it, but is a little large for manual thrusting.

-Packaging-

All packages that arrive from Exotic-Erotics are simple brown boxes that are plainly labeled.  No one will know what it contains without opening it up.  Inside the box, your dildo is sealed in plastic and inside a storage pouch which is included by checking the appropriate box during the order process.  Each of the pouches are handmade to perfectly fit the dildo you ordered and arrive in a random color/pattern.  Also included in your box is a care card that tells you everything you need to know about cleaning, lube compatibility, etc.  The information isn’t specific to The Croc and covers all the products available.

-Experience-

Though realistic looking animal penises aren’t my thing, I do love dildos that are unique and different and bring something new to the table.  While this dildo does look an awful lot like an actual crocodile penis, it’s strange enough that it feels more like a fantasy design than a realistic one.

The Croc has such a bizarre shape that I knew I had to try it.  It was either going to be a total fail, or it was going to be awesome; I couldn’t really see a middle ground.  After taking photos and playing around with the glow-in-the-dark silicone, I set aside some time to test it out.  I first tried laying on my back and manually thrusting, but that just left me with tired arms since the toy is so heavy.  I wish this dildo was suction cup compatible, but I understand that the base simply is too large for that.  Even without it, I found the shiny silicone bottom stays pretty well where it’s placed (as long as it’s a smooth, flat surface), even during use.

The tip of this toy is awesome!  The pronounced head creates that fantastic popping sensation I love so much and I really enjoyed the sensation.  I didn’t pick up on a lot of the texture featured on the shaft, but found it to be filling and very satisfying.  Don’t let the strange shape turn you away from The Croc!  It’s surprisingly pleasurable, even with how bizarre it looks!
