Basic 1 Dildo from BS is Nice

- Made from silicone
- Wonderful shape
- Medium firmness
- Great colors
- Harness compatible
- Might be too basic for some

Basic 1 Dildo from BS is Nice is a really simple looking toy with a fairly standard shape.  With all the crazy textured dildos available, you might think this one looks boring, but sometimes the most basic designs are the ones that work best.

With a broad head and great curve, the shape of this toy was made with targeted pleasure in mind.  Having a shaft without texture makes thrusting nice and smooth and keeps the focus on specific areas, with the overall design being very versatile.  The base of the dildo is not only safe for anal use, but also fits solidly in a harness; making it great for any gender, in any type of relationship, or for solo pleasure.

The Basic 1 Dildo is made from high quality silicone which is body safe, non-porous, latex free, and phthalate free.  Silicone is one of the best materials for a sex toy because it’s so easy to care for and is available in a wide range of firmness levels.

These dildos are each handmade in Spain using ‘traditional technologies’.  There are some small marks on the surface of the toy which makes it slightly imperfect, but is expected for a smaller company.  It doesn’t effect use, but does give it a little bit of character.

Untitled-7This particular silicone is unlike anything I’ve ever felt before.  The surface doesn’t have any texture to it, but has this incredibly interesting smoothness to it.  It will drag across your skin if you slide it lightly, but is somehow smooth at the same time.  It will pick up small particles, not because the surface is tacky, but because it gets staticky.   Without changing form, it reminds me of the way clay feels in your hands as your shaping it.  It has a light shine, but feels more matte to the touch.

The firmness of this dildo is one of its best features, in my opinion.  It easily compresses in your hands, but provides great G-spot pressure.  It also flexes nicely which helps prevent it from causing discomfort while being firm in all the right ways.  Pretty much it won’t flop around, but is still comfortable and stimulating to use.

Untitled-2This particular toy is called ‘Basic 1 Dildo‘ for a reason; it’s very basic.  It doesn’t have a bizarre new shape, it isn’t covered in a crazy texture, and it doesn’t move/bend/flex in some unheard of way.  This sort of shape is fairly common in dildos, having a great curve, broad head, and increasing girth of the shaft.  While many advanced users might feel this looks like a beginner’s toy, they couldn’t be more wrong!  Yes, a beginner certainly could appreciate the shape (though the size might be an issue to someone who’s not used to penetration), it’s one that just about anyone can appreciate.

The tip starts off with this wonderful rounded point that makes insertion so easy, and the hooked Untitled-8head that follows does an amazing job of rubbing the G-spot.  Thanks to the firmness level, it doesn’t get caught up on the pubic bone either, so stimulation is always comfortable and enjoyable.  The increasing girth is great because it gives you a full sensation, and the flat base on the bottom allows it to stand up on its own and rest comfortably in a harness.

The actual name of this dildo is ‘Basic 1 Dildo Large‘.  There’s a smaller version available that’s the same great shape, but would be more suited for beginners and those that prefer smaller toys.  Though this one is called large, I would say it’s only a little on the girthy side of average.  It’s large enough that it would likely be too much for a beginner, but might not be large enough to satisfy a size queen.  The full length is 6 1/2″ (not measuring along the curve), with 5 3/4″ being insertable.  The length is wonderful because it should stimulate most G-spots without being so long it’s constantly bumping into the cervix in an uncomfortable way.  The head and top of the shaft start out at 4 1/2″ in circumference, and gradually get wider until it’s 5 3/4″ at the base.

With proper care, your Basic 1 Dildo should last a very long time!  Before each use you should wipe it down or wash it to remove any particles, and always make sure to clean it after use with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite sex toy cleaner.  If you’re sharing with a partner or switching orifices, it’s important to make sure you sterilize it in between use.  You can do this by cleaning with a 10% bleach solution, boiling for three minutes, or placing on the top rack of your dishwasher.

Because it’s made from silicone, you have to be careful with the lube type you use along with it.  It’s always recommended you use a water-based lube with your silicone toys to prevent the material from reacting poorly.  If you must use another type, make sure you spot test on an area you wouldn’t insert prior to slathering it over the whole toy to test it out.

Untitled-1There’s no need to search for a storage pouch since the packaging will work just fine.  It has a resealable top just like a Ziploc bag but is much more durable and can stand on its own.  The package is mostly clear, having only the logo and a few words on the front, and the back having a little more information on it in both Spanish and English.  Inside the package you receive another small paper that provides you with instructions and warnings, and you also receive a lubricant sample.  Included inside my shipping box was also a paper about the company itself.

Ever since I laid eyes on a BS is Nice dildo, I’ve lusted over them!  They have some really great color choices that are fun and funky, but even their solid colored dildos are beautifully vibrant.

My first impression when I opened the shipping box was how awesome the package was.  The fact it’s so basic (going with a theme here?) while still be reusable was something I could really appreciate, not to mention having a clear pouch makes it so much easier to view which toy you’re grabbing.

When I took it out I was so intrigued by how it felt in my hands.  The feeling is so hard to describe; some drag, but somehow silky?  It’s truly amazing even if I’m not sure which words work with it.  The firmness got me excited right away and I could wait to truly test it out.

Being a toy reviewer, I set out a few new toys to test and got started.  The first one I used was covered in texture, which is something I normally enjoy, but it was really uncomfortable for some reason.  I stopped after only a minute and reached for the Basic 1 Dildo.  I applied a small amount of lube (with the smooth surface only a little is needed) and slipped it inside.  Not only did it immediately feel amazing, it almost soothed the discomfort the other dildo caused me.

I spent a long time focusing on the sensation this dildo provided, and was so impressed at how well this basic dildo preformed.  Sometimes taking a break from the crazy shapes and textures can help you truly appreciate what a simply great design has to offer.  I highly recommend checking out this, and all the other products BS is Nice has to offer.

Flash Mini Rabbit from Lovehoney

- USB rechargeable
- Compact
- Discreet
- Waterproof
- Weak
- Buzzy/numbing vibrations
- Uncomfortable ‘ears’ (in my experience)
- No travel lock

The Flash Mini Rabbit from Lovehoney is a USB rechargeable vibrator.  This compact vibe looks totally innocent, making it a great choice for someone that requires discretion as well as a suitable travel companion for those that like taking a little ‘friend’ with them on the go.

The best quality of this toy has to be the overall design.  It’s a great non-threatening toy for a beginner or a new partner, and is really simple to operate.  It can easily be used on your own, but becomes a great teasing toy in the hands of your partner.  The small tip works well at tickling the nipples, stimulating the clitoris, and teasing other erogenous areas of the body.  It’s not limited to the female anatomy and could easily be used to stimulate male bodied individuals as well.

External stimulation is the name of the game when it comes to this vibrator.  Vaginal stimulation would be highly lacking because it’s so small, and anal insertion would be dangerous since the toy could get easily lost inside your body.  There are plenty of other products that would better suit those activities, just keep this one outside of your body and you’ll be all set.

Strange as it may sound considering the way this product recharges, this vibrator is waterproof.  There’s a small rubber ring around the base of the USB area that prevents water from leaking inside the toy as long as the sides are properly connected.  This makes it not only simple to clean, but opens up even more opportunities in which it can be used.

The Flash Mini Rabbit is made from ABS plastic and silicone.  Both materials are body safe, latex free, phthalate free, and non-porous.  The area that comes in contact with your body most is silicone, the internal parts and silver area are made from plastic.

The surface has no obvious texture, and really doesn’t have much reason to.  The tip of the toy is where it goes against your body, and probably would have been a little uncomfortable had it been textured.  The silicone is matte and has a smoother feeling to it; sort of silky but still having a small amount of drag and a tendency to collect tiny duct particles.  There’s an obvious seam that runs along both sides of the top and into the dip between the ears, but can’t be felt during use.

The majority of the vibe is quite firm since the silicone area is more of a skin around the inner parts.  The ears at the top are the exception.  They have some flexibility to them, making it possible to surround your clit or nipples to provide vibrations from two sides, but are also firm enough to apply some pressure.

I had to laugh when I removed the Flash Mini Rabbit from it’s package because it immediately reminded me of a faceless bunny rabbit.  It has the individual ears at the top, a straight body, and I couldn’t help but see the power button as the little cotton tail.  Active imagination?  Perhaps, but that’s all I can see when I look at it.

The silicone areas of the toy are all a deep purple, and the plastic band just above the center is silver and features the heart from the Lovehoney logo.  It’s cute looking and certainly isn’t immediately obvious that’s it’s a vibe.  With all the interesting flash drives available now, it could easily be mistake for one by almost anyone.

The small size makes this vibe easy to stash just about anywhere and will blend in easily with almost anything.  It wouldn’t look out of place in a purse or makeup bag, and would fit in well with other flash drives right at your desk.  It’s very unassuming and makes a great option for someone that requires discreet toys.  The full length is 4 3/4″ with the ears themselves being only 1/2″ in length.

Untitled-7The Flash Mini Rabbit is USB rechargeable.  Rather than dealing with tangled cords, charging ports, or magnetic strength; the top of the vibes comes off and you simply stick the bottom directly into your USB port on your computer or wall charger.  When it first arrives it has a partial charge, but you’ll want to plug it in and fully juice it up so it doesn’t die in the middle of your first use.  When it’s charging, a light will flash from behind the power button and when it stops, you know your vibe is fully charged.

The power button is located near the bottom on the back of the vibrator.  This button turns the toy on, changes the functions, and turns the toy off.  Each time you press it, you’ll hear a little click and the button will illuminate for a moment.  After turning the toy on, you have six functions to cycle through; three steady speeds, and three patterns.  When you’re ready to turn the toy off, you have to hold down the button for a few seconds.  When you turn the toy back on, it will start off on the last vibration pattern you were on prior to turning it off.

The patterns are:

  1. Steady Low
  2. Steady Medium
  3. Steady High
  4. Roller Coaster
  5. Pulse
  6. Three Quick Pulses, One Longer Pulse (repeat)

The vibrations are very buzzy and aren’t very strong, which is always a bit of a let down for me.  While you’d assume the power would be centered in the tip of the vibe, it travels well through the whole toy, causing numb fingers as a result.  For this reason I say it’s best used as a teasing toy, and not one you expect to easily get off with.

Though the type of vibration is a bit of a let down, the sound level is great.  With a little white noise you could probably use it in the same room as someone else without them even knowing, and no one from behind a close door would be able to hear you.  In this case, I would have preferred it to be a little louder if that meant the vibrations were stronger, but no such luck.

When fully charged you can expect to use the toy for up to 3 hours according to the paperwork.  I don’t know anyone that would be able to do that, but it’s good to know it will last through more than one session.  When the charge is getting low, a red light will flash behind the power button, letting you know it needs to be recharged.  I really appreciated this feature since it’s always disappointing when a vibe dies while you’re using it.

Cleaning and caring for the vibe is really quite easy.  You should wipe it off before use (to remove any accumulated particles) and clean with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite sex toy cleaner after use.  Just make sure both sides of the vibe are properly in place to ensure no water gets inside the toy.  If you’re sharing with someone else, you can sterilize the toy with a 10% bleach solution only.  Boiling it and placing in the dishwasher won’t work since there are internal working parts.

It’s recommended that you only use a water-based lubricant with this vibe since some silicone toys and silicone-based lubricants have a bad reaction to each other, potentially damaging the surface of the vibe.  Stick with water-based and you’ll have nothing to worry about.

The Flash Mini Rabbit doesn’t come with a storage pouch and the package wasn’t made for long term use.  You could use a small toy pouch for storage or simply slip it into your purse or underwear drawer for safe keeping.

Though it’s not discreet, Lovehoney has some pretty cute packaging for their products.  The Flash Mini Rabbit arrives in a thin cardboard box that features a full colored image of the toy on the front and provides a good amount of information on the box itself.  Inside, the vibe is sealed inside a plastic bag and a small instruction paper is included that covers everything you need to know about the toy.  The box can be broken down and disposed of since it’s not necessary to keep.

What interested me most about this vibe, were the little ears at the top and I was curious how they would work on either side of my clitoris.  My clit happens to be rather picky about the type of pleasure it receives and favors stimulation on one side and not the other.  I’m trying hard to change its mind and thought this little vibe would lend a helping hand.

I was quite surprised when I removed it from the package and saw just how small it really was.  I immediately thought it would be a great vibe to have on the go, tucked inside a purse or backpack for pleasure while you’re outside the house, but wasn’t so sure once I turned the toy on to test it out.

The vibrations are extremely buzzy and even holding onto it for a short time caused my fingers to tingle and go numb.  It’s not a pleasant feeling and is one I’d rather avoid.  After fooling around with it a little bit, I decided it was time to truly test its worth.

When I placed it against my clit I immediately pulled it away, not realizing how firm those little ears really are.  I kept feeling like the ends were stabbing into me, even when I was trying to prevent them to, but it may have been my over sensitivity in that moment.  The tickle the vibrations provided felt nice for a moment, but was more of a tease than anything and left me wanting.  The only problem was, my clit was so numb I had a hard time getting off after using it.

I’d say this is a super cute little vibe for someone that’s looking for a teasing toy, or is extremely sensitive to vibrations.  Everyone else is going to be let down by the weak power and buzzy sensations.  I loved the concept, appreciated the discreet design, but the power level isn’t enough for me to use on a regular basis.

Please Lubricant Sampler Pack from Pleasure Works

Trying a new lubricant can be really hit or miss, especially when you already have a go-to.  It’s even worse when the new lube you purchased ends up falling short.  Not to mention if you’re purchasing a good lube, it can be pretty expensive, and end up being money wasted if it doesn’t work out for you.  The best way to eliminate this potential problem?  Sample packs!

A lot of companies put together little sample packs so you can use it for a session or two and see if it’s what you’re looking for.  It’s a fraction of the cost, and doesn’t feel like you’re just throwing away money if it doesn’t satisfy your needs.  Not only that, but it’s much easier to travel with a lube sample than a whole big bottle of it, so it’s always a good idea to purchase sample sizes of your favorite lube for traveling too.

The awesome people over at Good Vibrations were kind enough to send me a sample pack along with another review item and asked if I’d be willing to give it a try.  I’m always up for something new, so why not!

Please Lubricant is available in three different types, and the sample set comes with a 5 mL pouch of each.  I’ll be touching on each to give you a little idea of what you can expect.

From Each

Each lubricant sample is water-based which makes them safe to use with any of your toys without having to worry about a reaction of any sort.  They’re also each glycerin and paraben free which is a huge plus for those that try to avoid them.  None of the lubes are great option for anal play because they simply aren’t thick enough or last long enough, but they work fine for other uses.   The pouches all have easy tear tabs on the top, making them convenient and easy to open and apply.  Just be aware that the lube comes out pretty fast once it’s open.

Another thing I noticed about all three of them as the scent.  Each lubricant reminded me of the way scented baby wipes smell.  It’s not strong and is only noticeable when you’re really close to it, but isn’t unpleasant at all.  It doesn’t linger on the skin once it’s been wiped away either.

Please Liquid Lubricant

Water/Aqua, Cellulose Gum, Guar Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid

The Liquid, as you may have already assumed, is the thinnest of the three.  It’s thicker than water, but doesn’t take long for it to run.  It has a nice wet and slick feeling to it, but needs to be reapplied more often as a result.  This one is best for vaginal use since it needs that added moisture to prevent it from getting dry too quickly.

As it dries, there’s a brief period where it gets slightly tacky feeling, but it doesn’t last long.  It absorbs into the skin well, eliminating the need to wash up, and making your skin feel nice and smooth in the process.

This lube is clear and totally tasteless, making it a fine option to use if you’re planning on starting with one activity and advancing to oral play.

Please Cream Lubricant

Water/Aqua, Sorbitol, Isopropyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth 20, Polysorbate-20, Cellulose Gum, Sclerotium Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium

As you can tell from the ingredients list, this does contain a small amount of silicone.  That being said, the website states that it’s such a small amount it won’t have any negative effect on your silicone toys, but you can always spot test first if it makes you feel better.

The Cream is the most unique out of the three.  It’s about the same thickness as the gel, but has more of a silky texture than a slick one.  It feels too wet to resemble lotion, but does have a slight greasy feel to it.  It’s enough that you may feel the need to wipe it away after use, since it doesn’t absorb into the skin as well as the others.  Not absorbing as quickly isn’t necessarily a bad thing.  It lasts longer than the others, making it a better choice for external uses.  It doesn’t last long enough to be the perfect jack off lube, but it would work in a pinch.

This lube is white in color and has a light taste to it.  It doesn’t taste bad, but isn’t something you’ll want to keep intentionally tasting either.

Please Gel Lubricant

Water/Aqua, Cellulose Gum, Guar Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid

Though it’s called Gel, it’s much thinner than you might assume.  It has a nice wet and slick feeling to it, but runs much easier than other gel type lubes I’ve tried in the past.  It’s thick enough that you have time to apply it where needed, but will easily drip from your hand/body/toy if you don’t rub it in right away.

Apart from being a little thicker, it’s essentially the same thing as the liquid version, needing to reapply often, absorbing into the skin well, and best used for toy use or vaginal intercourse.

This lube is totally clear and has no taste, making it a suitable option if you plan on advancing to oral play.

The image below shows you how thick they each are and how quickly they run.  The top shows drops of the lube placed on a flat surface, and the image below that shows how far they ran after a few seconds.

I think lubricant samples are fantastic for traveling and are the perfect way to test out a new lube without purchasing a full bottle.  Each of these sample lubricants are also available in 2 oz and 8 oz bottles if you want to purchase something larger, and you can buy the samples individually for $1 each (or you could spend $2 to try all three and save 33%!).  Samples like this are always worth picking up, and are a great add-on to help get your totally purchase over the $50 mark to get free shipping!

Max 02 from Tantus

- High quality silicone
- Dual density
- Harness compatible
- Great design
- Realistic feeling
-Lint magnet
- Not available in fun colors

Max 02 from Tantus is a silicone dildo that features a firm inner core and a softer outer layer; often referred to as dual density.  This difference in firmness gives the toy a much more realistic feeling, and can make all the difference to the right person.

This particular dildo can be used in a variety of ways thanks to the great design.  It has a prominent head which is great for G-spot and P-spot stimulation, has an anal safe base, and was obviously designed to rest perfectly in a harness.  Whether you’re going at it on your own, are manually using it with a partner, or are using it for some strap on play, Max 02 is a wonderful choice!

The base is flat on the bottom and doesn’t contain a bullet hole, so the one thing it doesn’t do on its own is vibrate.  It’s easy to fix that by placing a vibrating cock ring at the base of the shaft, turning a regular dildo into a vibrator.  Since it doesn’t have any internal working parts there’s no concern about taking the toy with you into the tub or shower and is super easy to clean.

Max 02 is pretty girthy, so wouldn’t be a great choice for a beginner or someone that prefers smaller toys in general.  It’s definitely an anally advanced toy that should only be used by those who are used to being penetrated by larger anal toys.

Tantus makes some of the best silicone toys, in my opinion (and the opinion of many others).  They have their own blend of 100% Ultra-Premium Silicone that is totally body safe, latex free, phthalate free, and was made to last a lifetime with proper care.  It doesn’t get any better than that!

Max 02 has a shiny head and a matte shaft and base.  They’re both major lint collectors and have a lot of drag to the surface, but the shaft slides a little easier than the head.  A little water-based lubricant is all you need to help the dildo glide nice and smoothly, so it’s not a big issue.

The whole dildo isn’t covered in a lot of texture, but has enough to stimulate a little without being overwhelming.  The head itself is bulbous which creates a light popping sensation during use, there are wrinkles beneath the head, and there are some prominent veins along the shaft.  If you have an aversion to texture, this should still be suitable since it’s quite subtle.

Being firm on the inside and having a ‘Super Soft’ external layer gives it a pretty unique feeling.  If you’ve never used a dual density toy you need to get one!  The feeling it provides is impressively natural, having the wonderful stiffness without being Untitled-7so rigid that it causes discomfort.  There are a few companies that make dual density toys, and Tantus is the most firm out of the ones I’ve tried.  The Super Soft layer is much thinner than the other company’s, giving it the most realistic feeling out of them all.

The core starts about halfway down the head and goes all the way to the base.  Since the core isn’t in the tip, that area has the most give to it (the testicles are the same way, but obviously aren’t insertable).  The shaft is firm, but does have some give to it.  It’s not really obvious when you look at it, but you can easily feel it with your hands.  Having the stiffness it does, it’s a little harder to bend than other dildos of the same material.  All these things make it more realistic than the average silicone dick, and is something many should find stimulating as a result.

Untitled-5Max 02 was naturally designed to look like an erect penis, and is available in three color choices; Cream (the one pictured), Cocoa (a medium coloring, more like a caramel), and Black (literally black, not a flesh tone).  Unfortunately it doesn’t come in any fun and funky colors, but the black is an option for those that don’t care for natural coloring.

Though Max 02 has all the obvious parts that make up a penis, it isn’t overly realistic.  It’s enough that there’s no denying it’s a dildo, but you wouldn’t mistake it for an actual penis by sight.  The shaft itself is totally straight, and while it doesn’t have a curve to it, the bulbous head helps to stimulate the important areas just the same.  The veins on the shaft add a nice texture, but don’t look realistic at all.  The most unrealistic area is the base, but there’s a good reason for it.  Unlike some dildos that are harness compatible, this one was designed to fit perfectly inside one.  So though it isn’t the most attractive looking, it functions extremely well as a result.

Tantus has several dildos in the 02 line, providing options to help you select the one (or few) that will work for you.  Max 02 is pretty large, coming in at 2″ in diameter and pairing with Luke 02 (which is an inch shorter than Max) for the largest girth in this line.  The full length is 8″ with 6 1/2″ of insertable length.  It’s large for a beginner, but would be suitable for an average user that appreciates some girth to their toys.  The others in the 02 line (Mark 02, Adam 02, and Mikey 02) are thinner and might work better depending on your preferences.  Just make sure you check the sizes of each before deciding which is right for you.

Silicone is a very easy material to clean and care for.  Wash before (because of the lint issue) and after use with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite sex toy cleaner for regular use, and be sure to sterilize it if you’re switching orifices or sharing with someone.  You can do this by boiling it for up to three minutes, cleaning it with a 10% bleach solution, or placing it on the top rack of your dishwasher.

It’s best to stick with a water-based lubricant when it comes to silicone toys since some silicone-based lubricants can cause a reaction resulting in surface damage.  If you really want to use a silicone lube, make sure to spot test first to make sure they work okay together.

The packaging Tantus uses isn’t great for long term storage, and a pouch isn’t included.  To prevent anything from scratching or cutting into the surface of your toy, make sure you store it in a safe area, or place it in a large toy pouch.

Max 02 arrives in the standard thin plastic packaging Tantus uses for most of their products.  It has a mostly clear window on the front that boldly displays the dildo, and has a small amount of information on it.  When you open the top, you pull out a plastic sleeve that surrounds the dildo, holding it in place.  The sleeve is opened from the top down has has impressions on either side that perfectly fit the toy.  There isn’t an instruction booklet or anything, all the information is on the package, but it’s pretty straightforward.  You can easily break down the box and dispose of it as you normally would plastic items.

After trying out dual density dildos from other companies I couldn’t wait to get my hands on what Tantus has to offer.  Max 02 is my first from their line and I can promise it won’t be my last!

What surprised me when I first took it out of the package was how firm it felt.  I recall talking with my husband about a dildo from another company and how the outer layer was so plush it didn’t feel realistic enough.  That wasn’t the case with this one!  Though I normally prefer softer toys in general (perhaps that’s changing?), I couldn’t get enough of Max 02!

Being the size queen I am, I didn’t need any warm up, but found a little lube was enough to get things moving nicely.  I always appreciate a smooth popping sensation (not the type where it feels like it’s getting hooked on your pubic bone) and that’s exactly what the head of this dildo provided.  Everything about the dildo appealed to me; the way it rubbed my G-spot, the subtle texture of the shaft, and the large base which was easy to hold onto during use.  Tantus certainly got it right with this one, and I can’t wait to try the others in this line as well!

If you’re interested in purchasing your own Max 02 (and you should, or at least another from their Dual Density 02 line), now is the perfect time!  Through the month of November, Tantus is having a HUGE sale where EVERYTHING is 30% off and there’s free shipping (in the US) on orders over $75.  Umm…why haven’t you clicked the banner yet to make your purchase?

Max 02 was provided to me free of charge in exchange for an unbiased review.  This is in compliance with FTC guidelines.

Each fantasy is put together for heterosexual partners as a way to spice things up.  The fantasies range from sweet and romantic, to dark and rough; giving you the chance to test out situations you may have never considered before, but always include cards to help you get things started.

I received The Fantasy Box – The Ultimate Dessert ($59 option) in exchange for an unbiased review, but will be focusing more on the company as a whole; giving you a good idea on what to expect, no matter which fantasy you receive.

Untitled-1Every package you receive is plainly marked and arrives in a simple brown box; keeping its contents both safe and secret.  The box inside is attractive, fun, and durable enough to be used for storage later on.  My box was mostly red with black sides that feature small sexy silhouettes in white (bras, handcuffs, hearts, lips, etc.), and has a smaller design in the center of the top.  It doesn’t immediately giveaway what it contains, but once you really look at the images you’ll see they’re all ‘adult’ related.

The box stays closed magnetically and lifts from the front, up.  The first Untitled-4thing you’ll see when you open the box are cards.  Each box contains ‘his’ and ‘her’ instruction cards that give an idea of who should be in charge and how the fantasy was designed to be played out.  These are simply an overview of what the box contains, and how the items work together to fulfill that specific fantasy.  It’s nothing you have to totally stick to, feel the moment and go with what works best for the two of you.

Beneath the cards is a thin cardboard piece that lays over the contents and down two sides, keeping everything in place.  The products are all laid out nicely with some thin crinkled black paper to prevent it from moving around too much and is a simple touch that pulls the whole package together.

The contents of The Fantasy Box I received are:

  • Pink apron with The Fantasy Box logo on the front
  • OS white panties from Dreamgirl
  • A vibrator
  • Flavored lubricant Sample
  • Cupcake wipes
  • Super Ropes candy rope
  • and the fantasy cards

It’s obvious that each kit was put together with great thought and care, creating a theme and compiling all the pieces that work perfectly along with it.  Whether you purchase a single box, or start up a month subscription, these adorable boxes are sure to bring a little something extra to sexy time with your special someone.

Enchanted Thrusting Ellie by Cal Exotics

- Cute design
- Multi-function
- Easy to use/understand
- Waterproof
- Big rotation issues
- Somewhat porous material
- Doesn’t thrust well
- Expensive

Enchanted Thrusting Ellie from the Enchanted line by Cal Exotics is a dual stimulating vibrator, often referred to as a ‘rabbit’ vibe.  This type of toy is primarily designed for women to use for simultaneous stimulation of both internal and external pleasure zones, without needing to use two separate toys.

For solo use, this vibrator style is wonderful since you don’t need to exhaust both your arms, and can even use it hands free by inserting the shaft, and holding your legs together.  The straightforward controls keep it easy to use and understand which makes it simple for a partner to use on you as well.  Though the material has some give to it, be careful with thrusting with it since the clitoral arm could hit hard and cause some discomfort.

The clitoral arm acts as a base and is safe to be used anally, but isn’t a great option for a few reasons.  The material itself is somewhat porous, so you would need to use a condom over the insertable portion of the toy since it can’t be fully sterilized.  The other reason is the way the clitoral arm is designed.  It might cause discomfort to the perineum since it doesn’t have a lot of flex to it.  There are many other, safe options for anal use if that’s what you’re interested in.

Thanks to a rubber o-ring around the base of the battery compartment, you can take the vibe with you into the tub or shower, and it makes cleaning the toy much easier.  Just make sure the cap is properly closed and no water will leak inside the toy.

The Enchanted Thrusting Ellie is made from  TPE, ABS plastic, and Stainless Steel beads.  TPE is the clear material that covers the areas of the vibe that comes in contact with your body most.  It’s not a non-porous material, but it’s much safer than jelly which many rabbit vibes are made from, and is latex free and phthalate free.  It’s important to always use a condom if you plan on sharing with someone else, since there’s no way to sterilize the material.

The surface of the toy feels very rubbery, which is common considering the material type.  It doesn’t glide smoothly across the skin, but has a lot drag and also picks up a lot of small dust and lint particles.  A little lubricant applied to both the clitoral arm and shaft with help it slide in nice and smoothly.

The TPE has some give to it which is most obvious in the ‘head’ of the toy, and provides a little cushion around the hard internal parts.   The clitoral arm is very soft and pliable, but still provides nice pressure where you need it most.  It does flex upward, helping it fit better, and doesn’t clamp down when everything is lined up.

Untitled-6The Enchanted Thrusting Ellie has very familiar features to it if you’ve ever seen a rabbit vibrator before; having a partially clear shaft with beads underneath, a clitoral arm, and a plastic base where the battery compartment and buttons are located.  The shaft itself is somewhat phallic in shape, but isn’t overly realistic in general.

The external stimulator is unlike any I’ve ever seen before.  It is animal shaped, but rather than being a rabbit like you’d typically see, this one features a cute little elephant.  It’s angled upward, standing on its back legs only, almost looking like it’s lunging forward.  The attention to detail is amazing, the trunk wrinkles and face, ears, and even the front set of legs underneath.  It’s a nice change from the common animals you see, and is pretty adorable, which might bother some that don’t care for ‘animal’ shaped toys.

The size immediately looks intimidating, but a good portion is because the battery compartment makes up so much of the length.  The full size is 10 1/4″ long, but only 5″ is insertable.  The elephant, measuring from where it’s connected to the shaft to the tip of the trunk, is 2 1/4″ long and should be suitable for most users.  The girth is a bit much for a beginner or someone that prefers smaller toys.  It’s 5 1/8″ in circumference at the widest point, but is only 4 1/2″ at the tip.

Untitled-7The Enchanted Thrusting Ellie requires four AA batteries in order to function.  The base of the toy unscrews and a white tray slides out.  It’s properly marked to show exactly how the batteries should be inserted and is very easy to understand.  Make sure the metal pieces on the bottom of the tray match up with the metal pieces inside the battery compartment and you’re good to go!  Make sure you screw the cap on well and you’re ready to turn the toy on.

Inside the toy are two motors, one that controls the rotation, and one that controls the vibration.  They are totally separate which means the vibrations can only be felt in the clitoral arm and the rotation/thrusting can only be felt in the shaft.

There are a total of four buttons on the toy, and four light indicators.  One controls the vibrations of the clitoral arm (the 7 and light above it), and three that work with the rotation of the shaft.  The internal and external stimulators are controlled separately, meaning you can have only external stimulation, only internal, or both at the same time.

The rotation:

To turn on the rotation, you have to press the up arrow which brings you to your first rotation speed.  There are a total of three speeds and continuing to press the up arrow will make it go faster.  The (R/S) button changes the rotational direction; it will pause for a brief moment, and then spin the opposite way.  If the rotation is too fast, you press the down arrow, and turn it off my pressing down until the lights turn off and the rotation stops.

Along with the rotation is a slight thrusting action.  Now, before you think this is similar in anyway to the Fun Factory Stronic line, think again.  The white plastic piece inside the shaft lightly moves up and down against the tip as the three rows of beads also move up and down in sync.  The action can hardly be felt in your hands, it lacks that much.

The rotation isn’t very fast, even on the highest setting, and there really isn’t a lot of difference between the three speeds.  The sound level is a little annoying and might be a distraction during use.  With the door closed, the rotation might be heard if there’s no other sound in the house, but adding some white noise would cover it up fairly well.

The vibration:

When you press the 7 button once, you turn on the first vibration setting of the clitoral arm.  Naturally, there are a total of seven patterns (which is obvious based on the button being labeled ’7′), and the light indicator changes color and switches from steady to blinking depending on the setting.  When you’re ready to turn it off, hold the button down for a few seconds, continuing to press it will only result in cycling through the patterns again.

The vibration patterns are:

  1. Steady Low
  2. Steady Medium
  3. Steady High
  4. Escalating Pulse
  5. Pulse
  6. Quick Pulse
  7. Three Quick Pulse to Steady (repeat)

There’s some variety, but they mostly stuck with either steady or pulsing patterns which might seem lacking to some.  The vibrations are decent, but are on the buzzy side, which is always disappointing for those of us that crave deep, rumbly vibes.  It should work for those that are a little more sensitive, because there’s some power there, but power queens will feel let down by it.

Even on the highest setting, the noise level is quite modest.  While someone in the same room with you would be able to hear it (without any other noise), no one outside of your closed door would know what you’re doing.  It’s totally safe to use the vibrations with someone else in your home, but you might want to wait on the rotation for when you’re totally alone.

Before and after each use, the Enchanted Thrusting Ellie should be cleaned.  You can easily wash it in the sink with antibacterial soap and warm water, or your favorite sex toy cleaner.  There’s no way to sterilize this particular material, so it’s important to use a condom if you must share with someone else, but is smarter to keep this one to yourself.

Both water-based and silicone-based lubes are safe to use with this toy, and a little goes a long way.  If you plan on using other toys during the same session, pay attention to material differences since silicone toys don’t always get along with silicone-based lubes.

The only storage option with this toy is the cheap plastic packaging.  In order to avoid potential surface damage, it’s important to keep it away from other toys and inside a bag or pouch.  A gallon sized Ziploc works well if you have nothing else.

Untitled-2Your ‘rabbit’ will arrive in a thin plastic package that proudly displays the product through a clear window on the front and one side.  It has a bunch of scattered information on the front, sides, and bottom, but the back features the key points in five different languages.  It’s not discreet, and though there’s no nudity on it, isn’t very tasteful either.

The top easily opens and a thin plastic tray slides out that contains the toy.  It’s not at all important to keep the package and it wasn’t made to last anyway.  If it does happen to break on you (like mine did) be very careful because the plastic is quite sharp and could cut you or your toy.  As long as you have another storage option for the toy, you can dispose of it as you normally would plastic items.

The Enchanted Thrusting Ellie had me curious because I had never used a rabbit that could rotate and thrust, so I was anxious to give this one a try.  I thought the blue coloring was a nice change, as was the elephant shaped stimulator, though I would prefer my vibes not having an animal shape in general, and was anxious to put it to use.

It felt good and solid in my hands, and knowing it ran on four AA batteries gave me the impression that it would be nice and powerful.  When I popped the batteries in and tested it out, I was immediately surprised that the vibrations were decent (though buzzy), and couldn’t wait to try out the rotation and thrusting action.  In my hands it seemed okay, but I was ready to really see what it was all about.

I often have issues with clitoral arms on rabbits not reaching my clit properly because it’s a little far away, but the trunk reached without an issue.  I started with the vibrations and while they felt good, it was more of a tease than anything.  After cycling through the vibrations, I decided to try out the internal functions.

Or at least, I thought I would.

I turned on the rotation and nothing happened so I pulled it out and pressed the button before inserting it.  The rotation was going, but only when it was outside of my body.  I upped the power and the second setting wouldn’t work either.  On the final setting, the rotation would work, but even the tiniest squeeze of my muscles would make them stop.  I contract those muscles while I’m masturbating a lot because it feels good, so this wasn’t going to work for me at all.

If the rotation had more power behind it, this wouldn’t have necessarily been an issue, but as it stands, I couldn’t even test out how it was internally because it wouldn’t work inside my body.  I was extremely disappointed in this toy as a result.  What good is a rabbit vibe if the internal portion is useless to me?

Your experience with this toy might be different than mine, but as it stands, I can’t recommend spending the money on this one.  It’s expensive for the lack of power and anyone who has strong muscles will run into the same problem I did.  If you’re still interested in purchasing this toy, you can find it at by clicking the banner below.
